Hi, I'm James. I'm currently a Software Engineer at Stash working towards making financial opportunities accessible by all. Projects
Implemented basic read/write controls for Google Sheets through SMS. Allows for adding to a list (single column) on the go (shopping list, todo list, places to visit, etc.).
Created SMS game at HackNY in a team of three that lets users compete against each other by guessing Clarifai tag points. Used a Flask web server to actively listen for Twilio webhooks from user submissions.
Collaborated in a team of three on a Java game with Swing GUI from a clone of GridWorld where the user leads herbivores away from predators. Created logic for Herbivore and Herder using Object Oriented principles.
Applied a Voronoi layer on a food markets in Flushing and Corona to find a pattern in housing locations. Utilized geocoding APIs for incomplete data sets.
